Review by Joe E for Liam Maguire’s Irish Pub

Four of us went here (October 2010) because we are Irish. Food and atmosphere (ie music) were good, but we had a waitress who ignored us most of the evening. Took ages to take our drink order, then brought only 3 drinks ("There's no Merlot!) and promptly disappeared without offering an alternative. We eventually called another waitress who brought a fourth drink. Still no-one had taken our food order, although we could see people who were seated after us actually eating. After more than a half-hour we called another waitress who took our order, after we told here politely, that we had been waiting so long to order food. Shortly afterwards our waitress came over - no apology for delay, just "I'm doing the best I can!" in a rather annoyed tone. I would dispute this, as most of the evening she was fussing around a party group on the other side of the room while ignoring us. In every other restaurant we used in our USA holiday, we found staff over-polite. This was the exception!
