Review by Silly for

We've eaten at Villa Roma before and were very disappointed with this last visit. Upon delivery of our meals to the table, our waitress forgot who'd ordered what... there were only two of us... annoying. In my estimation that's a large part of the job. The food was a little disappointing, the haddock special somewhat greasy and shrimp scampi rather bland. After the couple at the table next to us left, the waitstaff swiftly reset it, furiously spraying windex all over the table, with the overspray landing all over my husband. They kept fluttering over that table and it became blatantly obvious it was going to be pushed against ours for a four-top as soon as we were gone (we'd only been there about 45 minutes or so). Our plates were virtually snatched out from under us while our forks were still in our hands, as the waitstaff was telling us there was no hurry. We were in and out of there in about an hour. Not quite the relaxing, romantic dining experience we were hoping for. And it's not like it was the height of the summer season, on the contrary it was the dead of winter and in this economy I'd think the staff would be primed to make everyone feel as welcome as possible. We won't go back.
